Euroscepticism is a phenomenon against the process of broadening and deepening EU over the last decades. Among the diverse debates, it has been often described as a new picture, namely, ‘the democracy deficit’ in political life since 2008-9 financial crisis d. In this Context, the European Parliament has been shed light on because parliamentary members are directly elected.

In this context, this paper firstly overviews theoretical arguments led by exponents on Euroscepticism that have been developed in European countries, and then secondly examines the arrangement of prevailing Eurosceptic groups that are installed in political parties in the Parliament.

In particular, this article focuses on how arrangements are newly turned out in the 2014 election and what Eurosceptic groups would like to design the future of Europe. The ideas and activities of Eurosceptic groups could heavily influence on ROK’s external relations with EU in the long run as well as a disposition of European governance in itself while the European Parliament’s role in policy-making will be increasing.
