Research Fellow
The Jeju Peace Institute (http://jpi.or.kr), a private, non-partisan think tank located in the island of Jeju, South Korea, invites inquiries and applications for the position of Research Fellow. The ideal applicant currently has or is expected to receive a Ph.D. degree in the first half of 2014. The area(s) of expertise should be in international relations, regional/country studies, peace studies or other related fields. Beginning salary starts from KRW 3,500,000 per month (before tax) and is commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experiences. Initial contract will be offered for 2 years and can be renewed and extended based on performance review at the end of the initial contract. Only successful candidates will be notified for interviews on or before 7 February 2014. Interviews are scheduled for 20 February 2014 in Seoul, South Korea.
