Positions Announcement:
Visiting Research Fellowships

 

 

The Jeju Peace Institute (http://jpi.or.kr), a private, non-partisan think-tank located on the island of Jeju, South Korea, is pleased to announce a visiting fellowship program.

 

The fellowship provides an opportunity to pursue the study and promotion of peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and regional cooperation in East Asia as well as participate in JPI’s research activities.

 

Applications are now being accepted for this fellowship and applicants are accepted on an ongoing basis. We are looking for research fellows for a term of up to six months.

 

Successful candidates should have expertise in international relations, regional/country studies, peace studies or  fields related to JPI’s research interests.

 

Both Korean and non-Korean citizens are welcome to apply. We also encourage current or former policymakers, journalists, and other professionals to apply.

 

Privileges will be as follows:


-  Office space

-  Access to the computing and library facilities.  

-  Housing allowance: only for out-of-province candidates

-  Paid participation in JPI’s research activities

-  Round trip domestic airfare
