13th Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity_Session List Organized by JPI
The “Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity” was launched in 2001 as a vehicle for discussions on regional multilateral cooperation and promotion of peace and shared prosperity. Jeju Forum makes significant contributions to building a thriving community in East Asia. It is held every May in Jeju, the Island of World Peace. Hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and sponsored by MOFA, it focuses on discussions about the visions needed to realize sustainable peace and prosperity in East Asia over the long term. Jeju Forum has emerged as one of the most prestigious international public policy forums in Asia through the selection of the most compelling agenda of the time, coupled with the participation of various former state heads and world-renowned experts in various fields.
This year, the 13th Forum dealt with a wide range of important issues under the main theme “Reengineering Peace for Asia.” It was held on June 26-28,2018 at the International Convention Center(ICC), Jeju. |
